The House
Welcome
The Nantucket Cottage is located at the end of the no-through dirt road in the secluded part of Flinders in the Mornington Peninsula. The house has ocean views of Point Leo and Shoreham, as well as valley farm views, while still very secluded and private.
The House Features
The house has 4 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 8 people, which feature 3 Queen size beds and 2 singles. You will find fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso Coffee Machine, oven, stovetop, microwave and kettle; laundry with machine machine and dryer, as well as a large balcony with comfortable outdoor furniture and bbq.
Local Wineries & Restaurants
Sample locally made wines from multiple wineries within minutes drive from the house. Some of our favourites are the Flinders Hotel and Moke Dining, which are both within walking distance from the house. If you are looking for something more special, we recommend Tedesca Osteria, Ten Minutes by Tractor, and Quattro at the Epicurean located at the Mantons Creek Winery. We strongly recommend booking in advance, as peak periods tend to be busy.
Focus on Yourself
There are multiple yoga and pilates studios within driving distance from the house. Yoga studios in Shoreham and Point Leo both feature extensive outdoor sessions during the summer months.
For those partial to a bit of surf, you can catch a good wave off to the left of the hidden path from the house. Check tide schedules to plan in advance.
Discover Local Wildlife
Spend a little time outside and you will see many local animals and birds that frequent the area. Koalas, rabbits, owls, and many colourful birds are often can be seen off the balcony.
Bring Your Furry Friend
We are proud to be a pet-friendly property and would be happy to accommodate your pet. Please note that no pet beds or litter facilities are available, so we encourage to bring these with you. Please also note that the yard is not fenced, in case your furry friend likes to wander.
